PANASONIC – FLOWERS from Jay Shropshire on Vimeo.

Most of you have seen the ARRI ALEXA – “FLOWERS” demo. Well one day after work I wanted to see compare how highlights would hold up comparatively on a bare Panasonic AG-HVX200.

A 4×4 Tiffen 1/4 Pro Mist filter to feather highlights out a little bit then crushed my blacks and desaturated a little bit in post.

All footage was exposed at an F4, highlights mainly read at F11 and F16, while underexposed areas read roughly F2

as for the 12×12 black solid behind… I made sure it read E.u and started to shoot.

This stock footage is for sale. If interested Please contact me for further information and pricing.

Panasonic hvx200
I feel like i’m getting to the party late. I finally got my self a Panasonic HVX200. I got tried of being offered jobs only having to give them up later when the producers realized I didn’t have a 3 chip hd camera…never again!…now it’s on to the Canon7D or the 550D
